In 1985 Dave worked for Fred Angle Toyota, North Kansas City, MO, as a mechanic. He started hauling cars on the side for them. Within a matter of months it turned into a full time job. He started with one truck and trailer and has gradually built up to today.

In 2001 Dave moved his business to Northern Missouri. He purchased a farm which adjoined the family farm. he changed the business name to "High Point Motor Cars", named after the ridge the farm set on.

Terri partnered with the company in 2002. In the spring of 2007 they sold the farm. They currently have an office in town but keep most of the equipment on a small acreage in the country.

Over the years business has continued to grow. He found out there are a lot of customers that like the one-on-one service instead of being just another number. "They like the idea of having their car moved in a smaller trailer instead of a huge transport. "We move a lot quicker than the big guys, and generally our prices are not a lot different."

We have great salesmen dealers, and customers to work with. What we do would not be possible without them. We also have a great team of drivers. They always do their best to make delivery schedules and handle your car with care.

Several things have changed since he first started. We now have 2 enclosed carriers to keep up with the high end and classic automobiles. We also deliver several motorcycles. We add more retired customers to our "snowbird" list every year.

Dave has always had a passion for cars. He loves to race and has had several drag cars. He is currently restoring an old Mustang, and of course working on another race car. "I love my job! We get to meet great people, travel, and transport some of the most beautiful automobiles in the world. What could be better?"
